This is a fantastic use of public space. There are many places to sit & enjoy the calming river or to sit in the grass & have a picnic.
Clean and fun for the kids that you trust in the water. Fishing is terrible now. Usually very crowded for some reason however.
This could be a nice place if anyone but the City of Manchester was taking care of it
Truly beautiful & serene. Also, if you're brave enough the river can be traversed by way of kayak. I have not done so yet, but would like to try.
Great park to relax or watch the river and the people who play in the rapids. Excellent area to learn kayaking skills. I posted videos of the last flood.
